Amara, a Yorkshire-based wedding singer, brought me in to capture a set of portraits for her website and social media — a mix of personal branding and expressive imagery that would reflect her style and personality.
Although it was her first time in front of a professional photographer, she stepped into the shoot with an effortless confidence and natural presence that came through in every frame. We kept the session relaxed and intuitive, letting the location and light shape the mood, and allowing moments to unfold rather than forcing them.
Amara’s instinctive sense of movement and genuine connection with the camera made the whole shoot flow — the result is a collection of portraits that feel both intimate and bold. A standout debut from someone brand new to modelling.
Location: The Oakwood at Ryther
I can't recommend Pete enough! From the moment we began planning the shoot, he came to me with so many ideas and was incredibly patient as we discussed each one in detail. I could tell he was genuinely excited and enthusiastic to be involved in this process.
During the shoot, I felt completely at ease, which allowed him to capture some genuine moments. I particularly loved the way he suggested different poses and settings that brought out such a variety of images. His eye for detail and creativity is outstanding. The experience was so fun and enjoyable.
